The signing ceremony of bilateral cooperation documents between Iran and Venezuela was held in the presence of the Presidents of the two countries, and the high-ranking officials present signed 19 cooperation documents and memoranda of understanding.

Cooperation and participation in areas such as "communications and information technology, energy, insurance, maritime transport, higher education, agriculture, medicine, cultural exchanges, as well as the development of mineral cooperation", were among the important documents signed between the ministers of Foreign Affairs, Petroleum, Defence and Armed Forces' Logistics, Health and Culture and Islamic Guidance with their Venezuelan counterparts.
