Iran rises 32 ranks in logistics, supply chain in world
Caretaker of the International Exhibitions Organization of Iran said that Iran's position in logistics and supply chain in the world has been promoted to 64, while in 2016 it was ranked 96.
Bahman Husseinzadeh said on Saturday at the opening ceremony of the 4th International Exhibition of Logistics And Supply Chain of Industries and Equipment, 'Logistics plays an important role in reducing production costs and facilitation of the transportation of goods from one area to another is the characteristics and advantages of the logistics system and the supply chain.
Referring to the advantages of the logistics system and supply chain among the countries of the world, he said, 'Fortunately, there are 46 public and private companies in the 4th International Exhibition of Logistics and Supply Chain, and a company from China at the exhibition.”
The Iranian official said that Germany ranks first in the logistics and supply chain, adding, 'This important part of the economy has important job creation benefits and the development of transit of goods in the world. Today in the world the progress of the countries is due to the logistics and supply chain which with the help of the Internet, the various countries of the world can quickly progress in this field.”
