Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri stressed the fact that Iran will not take aggressive approach towards any country.

General Baqeri made the remarks Sunday while addressing the annual meeting of the Foundation for the Preservation of Works and the Publication of the Sacred Defense Values.
In response to a question on changing Iranian armed forces' security procedure to Offensive military mode, he said Iran does not aim to attack or occupy any country.
Iran is taking a defensive approach which is preserving independence, territorial integrity and interests of the country, General Baqeri noted.
He reiterated that it does not mean that Iran acts passively about operational and tactical issues.
