President described housing those who have lost their houses during the floods as a top priority for the government added, “The reconstruction process must be accelerated to save people from the problems they have”.

Speaking on Saturday evening at the coordination meeting of Disaster Management Taskforce of Khuzestan Province, Dr Hassan Rouhani said, “We are proud of all armed and popular forces, the EMS and all those who rushed to help people in the flood-hit areas”.
“I have no doubt that the people of Iran will pass this test successfully and the government will be alongside people with all its might and facilities,” he said.
The President also added, “For many years, the West has been announcing by their sanctions and propaganda that drought will destroy Iran, explicitly stating that Lake Urmia will be vanished”.
“In this year’s spring, God showed the imperialism and Zionism that this is not the case,” said the President.
He also referred to the floods in Aqqala and Pol Dokhtar and said, “When these cities were surrounded by the floods, I had a very hard night and I was in constant contact with officials”.
