A gas leak which led to fire at the pipeline linking gas network from Mahshahr to Ahvaz in southwestern Iran left five dead and six injured, governor of Ahvaz said on Thursday.

Jamal Alami, speaking to IRNA, rejected a terrorist act behind the incident, according to IRNA.
Four cars were destroyed by the fire but it has been put off now, the governor said.
Experts are reviewing the incident, he added.
