Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan says he is proud of witnessing good solidarity between Tehran and Yerevan.
'I am honored to see very good solidarity between us (Armenia) and the Islamic Republic of Iran and that both countries are good friends to each other in all areas,' Pashinyan said, addressing the Armenian community in Isfahan on Thursday.
He said no country can remove friendship between Iranian and Armenian nations.
He further said that he was honored to see Armenians having close links with their fellow 'dear Iranians' and went on to praise Iranian Muslim people for hosting Armenians.
'I am very happy that Armenians in Iran observe their rituals so freely and the first church, St. Merry Church, was built in Isfahan's Jolfa after Armenians' immigration and also Vank Church is still in place and unique, serving as hub of Churches in Isfahan,' he said.
He shouted several times 'Long live friendship between Iran and Armenia' as Armenians present in the ceremony encouraged him.
