The accord has nine articles, including expanding women's role in policies and decision-making, supporting women and children against any kind of violence, expanding women's role in trade and technology, empowering women in economic affairs, exchanging experiences in the field of women and children.

He noted that 'we put this proposal to the UNFPA that we can have a center of excellence in Iran not only for the region, but also at the global level where we can provide our experience and also a center for skills related to family, dialogue and to communication skills which are very important skills today.'
For much of her interview, Ebtekar said 'we have shortcomings, challenges but we think that even those challenges and shortcomings have lessons in them we can learn and we can share our lessons with other countries.'
'So this is one of the areas that we are working with other countries in bilateral level and international level and international organizations like the UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, we also have joint projects on for example the role of the family play in promoting environmental awareness in the society.'
